About OpenTrain AI

OpenTrain is the centralized platform where people start and grow careers in AI training and data labeling. We help contributors find projects, build a unified AI training portfolio, and grow durable freelance careers working on the human side of AI.

OpenTrain AI is the hiring and contracting organization for this role. Contributors work on real AI training tasks that shape how models behave while gaining experience across tools and projects.

Why AI training and data-labeling work matters

AI training is the human side of building intelligent systems: people prepare examples, review outputs, and teach models what’s correct. This work is remote, flexible, and widely accessible — many projects need real-world domain knowledge more than formal degrees.

As a contributor you’ll directly influence how AI systems understand sales processes and CRM workflows, doing valuable work that helps shape real-world business tools.

The role

We’re hiring a CRM Operations Specialist to support AI training focused on sales operations and CRM workflows. You will evaluate workflows and automation logic, document current practices, review CRM records, and assess AI outputs for accuracy against real-world sales operations.

This is a contract, part-time position requiring 20+ hours per week, performed remotely. OpenTrain AI pays hourly on a contractor basis at rates from $40 to $80 per hour.

What you’ll do

You’ll combine domain expertise in CRM and sales operations with careful annotation and evaluation work for AI training. Tasks emphasize practical accuracy, useful documentation, and realistic scenario building.

  • Evaluate CRM workflows, sales processes, and automation logic in Salesforce, HubSpot, and similar platforms.
  • Document current sales operations practices and highlight opportunities for process improvement.
  • Contribute real-world examples, user scenarios, and actionable feedback for training data.
  • Review, analyze, and annotate CRM records and user interactions for AI training objectives.
  • Assess and validate AI-generated outputs for correctness and alignment with actual sales operations.
  • Help create and critique documentation, training materials, and process guides for CRM tools.

Requirements

You must have hands-on CRM and sales operations experience and be comfortable working directly with CRM records and user interactions. No formal degree is required; we value platform fluency and real-world operations knowledge.

  • Hands-on CRM and sales operations experience with strong familiarity with Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Track record optimizing sales processes, implementing automations, and maintaining CRM data integrity.
  • Strong analytical skills and practical process-mapping abilities for complex workflows.
  • Clear written and verbal communication for documentation and actionable feedback.
  • Experience with automation logic, process mapping, or software implementation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with additional tools (Close, Apollo, Salesloft, Intercom, Freshdesk, Shopify, Crayon, Funnel) is helpful.

Logistics, pay, and how it works

This is a remote contractor role with a minimum commitment of 20+ hours per week. OpenTrain AI hires directly and manages payments.

Compensation is hourly, USD $40–$80 per hour (PAY_PER_HOUR). Work is part-time and flexible, allowing you to set many of your hours while meeting project deadlines.

  • Employment type: Contractor, Part-time.
  • Time requirement: 20+ hours/week; remote and worldwide applicants welcome.
  • Languages: English required.
  • Data type: Document review; label types include evaluation rating and text generation tasks.

Who should apply and next steps

Apply if you have real Salesforce/HubSpot experience, enjoy mapping and improving sales processes, and want to help shape AI systems that understand CRM workflows. This role suits people seeking flexible, impactful part-time work in the AI training industry.

To apply, prepare examples of past CRM process work or documentation you’ve created and be ready to demonstrate familiarity with automation logic and data integrity practices.
