The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a Creative Media AI Content Evaluator to create, edit, and assess visual and creative content for AI training work. You will turn creative briefs into illustrations, videos, audio, and other visual assets, produce consistent variations, and evaluate results across image, video, and audio workflows.

This entry-level opportunity is structured as a part-time contractor role requiring 20+ hours per week. Professional experience in a relevant creative or media field is required.

What You’ll Do

You will produce and evaluate a range of creative assets while documenting your process clearly. The work requires consistent execution across multiple variations, practical knowledge of creative software and media workflows, and the ability to incorporate feedback.

• Create illustrations, videos, and visual assets from creative briefs
• Produce design, audio, and video variations while maintaining consistent style, composition, and quality
• Capture screens and streams and manage creator video content
• Perform image editing, retouching, compositing, and authoring
• Apply digital painting, animation, brush-engine, and pressure-input techniques when appropriate
• Edit video using non-linear workflows, multi-track timelines, effects, and proxy editing
• Record and edit audio and video
• Document prompts, workflows, and asset metadata clearly
• Evaluate creative results using structured rating frameworks and detailed guidelines
• Incorporate feedback effectively

Required Qualifications

Applicants should have at least five years of professional experience in graphic or media design, illustration, visual arts, video editing, audio engineering, or a related field. A versatile portfolio demonstrating strong visual or media production work is required.

• Professional experience in graphic or media design, illustration, visual arts, video editing, audio engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in at least two of GIMP, Krita, Inkscape, Shotcut, Kdenlive, REAPER, or Ardour
• Experience creating and evaluating illustrations, videos, audio, and other visual assets
• Ability to maintain consistency across multiple media variations
• Practical knowledge of image retouching, compositing, digital painting, animation, or non-linear video editing
• Analytical problem-solving ability and careful attention to detail
• Strong communication, time management, and quality-control skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to document prompts, workflows, and asset metadata clearly

Helpful Background

Additional education or product-focused experience may be useful for this work. These qualifications are valued but are not listed as required.
