The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a Video Data Annotation Editor to analyze, annotate, and categorize video data using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. You will combine video editing, visual storytelling, motion graphics, and careful data annotation to produce clear and consistent training assets.
This opportunity is intended for entry-level or mid-level professionals who can manage deliverables independently in a remote contractor environment.

What You'll Do
You will prepare video data for use in AI training while maintaining accurate, consistent edits and annotations. The work includes both hands-on post-production and detailed documentation that supports reliable datasets and better annotation practices.
Analyze, annotate, and categorize video data
Use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for editing and preparation
Create, modify, and composite motion graphics
Apply effects, transitions, keyframing, and compositing techniques
Maintain accurate and consistent video edits
Deliver annotated video assets on time
Document editing and annotation methods for training datasets
Provide practical feedback to improve annotation guidelines and data quality
Requirements and Preferred Skills
You should be proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, including effects, transitions, keyframing, and compositing. Practical experience in professional video editing, motion graphics, or visual storytelling is preferred.
Experience with video data annotation or similar content-labeling work is helpful, but previous AI experience is not required. Strong communication, careful attention to detail, and dependable independent work are important for this remote role.
Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
