The work
OpenTrain is hiring a Contract Redlining Attorney to support legal AI training and evaluation. You will use practical legal judgment to review technology transaction materials, assess AI-generated contract responses, and help improve how models identify risk and interpret contract language.
- Review and redline technology transaction documents, including MSAs, NDAs, ISDAs, and derivatives agreements.
- Perform simulated contract negotiations and assess the legal and commercial effect of proposed language.
- Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, risk recognition, precision, and practical legal judgment.
- Create objective grading criteria and evaluation frameworks for contract-related AI tasks.
- Give clear feedback to improve model performance and contract-review outputs.
- Work with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and practices for AI-driven legal review.

This is a part-time, remote contractor role. Compensation is tied to completed and approved tasks, with an ideal rate range of $90 to $130 per hour.
