The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a Contract Redlining Attorney for a confidential law and AI training project. You will review commercial agreements, apply established playbooks and policy positions, and use practical transactional judgment to assess redlines, legal risks, and fallback outcomes.

The work covers MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and similar documents. It combines hands-on contract analysis, redlining judgment, negotiation knowledge, and precise written reasoning.

This is a remote contractor opportunity for U.S.-based attorneys, with a part-time commitment of 20 or more hours per week. The advertised pay range is $90-$110 per hour.

What You'll Do

Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and maintain active bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction. You must also have at least four years of hands-on transactional practice focused on contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
