You will provide legal analysis for an AI training project focused on energy and utilities regulation. Your work will help improve how AI systems reason about complex regulatory questions.
You will explain the reasoning behind your conclusions, identify unsettled or fact-dependent issues, and review other contributors' work for legal accuracy and clear reasoning.
- Analyze realistic scenarios involving rate design, tariff structures, market structure, and compliance obligations.
- Work with examples involving FERC, state public utility commissions, and ISO/RTO practice.
- Explain the legal reasoning behind each conclusion, not just the conclusion itself.
- Identify issues that are unsettled, jurisdictionally contested, or dependent on changing facts.
- Review and validate other contributors' work for legal accuracy and clarity.
- Flag ambiguous or poorly framed scenarios instead of resolving them without explanation.
- Document your analysis clearly and deliver assigned work at the required quality level and schedule.
