Contract Redlining Attorney, 4+ Years

You will review commercial agreements as part of a confidential law and AI training project. Your work will help improve how AI systems handle legal documents and reasoning.

You will use established playbooks and policy positions to assess drafts, make redlines, and explain your legal and commercial judgment in clear written analysis.

• Review and redline MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and similar commercial agreements.
• Identify key legal and commercial issues in contract drafts.
• Determine appropriate company positions and fallback outcomes.
• Write clear explanations for proposed redlines and revisions.
• Apply contract drafting, negotiation, and technology transactions knowledge.
• Work with other project contributors to maintain consistent standards and interpretations.
• Work independently with careful attention to detail and legal writing quality.

What it pays and takes

This is a remote, part-time contractor role for attorneys based in the United States. The work requires practical transactional experience and sound judgment when reviewing and interpreting contracts.

• Pay: $90 to $110 per hour.
• Time requirement: 20+ hours per week.
• Location: remote, open to applicants in the United States.
• Work arrangement: Remote contractor.
• Required: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Required: Active bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• Required: At least four years of transactional practice focused on contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Required: Strong familiarity with limitation of liability, indemnification, confidentiality, and data protection provisions.
• Required: Ability to turn complex legal concepts into clear, actionable written analysis.
• Helpful background: Direct experience with technology transactions and commercial agreements.
