About OpenTrain

OpenTrain is the centralized platform where people start and grow careers teaching AI. We help freelancers find specialized AI training and data-labeling work, build a unified portfolio, and apply in minutes—making it easier to turn domain skills into durable freelance careers.

Why AI training matters

AI training is the human side of building modern AI: people create, review, and correct the examples models learn from. This work is largely remote and flexible, accessible to practitioners with domain knowledge, and gives you a direct role in shaping how clinical AI systems behave.

The role

OpenTrain is hiring a Clinical Pharmacy AI Reviewer to support medication-related AI workflows in healthcare. You will review and correct AI-generated answers using patient context and source materials, produce structured annotations and written feedback, and escalate safety-critical or ambiguous cases.

This is a contract, part-time role for U.S.-based contributors. The project requires 30–40 hours per week availability during the engagement and pays $35 per hour. Work is performed remotely; English fluency is required.

What you'll do

  • Review medication-related clinical content and AI-generated responses tied to prior-authorization workflows.
  • Evaluate answers for accuracy, safety, clarity, completeness, and whether supporting evidence is cited.
  • Write structured annotations and corrective feedback when responses are inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Correct incomplete answers and improve clarity while following project rubrics and annotation guidelines.
  • Escalate cases with conflicting guidance, weak evidence, unclear context, or patient-safety concerns.
  • Work through topics such as medication history, prior authorization requirements, dosing, contraindications, drug interactions, supporting clinical documentation, and pharmacy workflows.
  • Participate in calibration, apply project rubrics consistently, and incorporate QA feedback to maintain quality standards.

Requirements

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential or equivalent pharmacy technician experience.
  • Hands-on experience with medications, prescriptions, pharmacy operations, and prior-authorization workflows.
  • Strong understanding of medication safety, drug interactions, and pharmacy best practices.
  • Experience reviewing clinical content for accuracy and completeness and writing structured feedback.
  • Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and comfort following structured annotation guidelines.
  • Availability for 30–40 hours per week during the project; work is remote and open to U.S.-based applicants. English required.

How it works & compensation

This engagement is offered by OpenTrain as a contract, part-time role. You will log and submit structured annotations and written reviews through project tools, follow rubrics, and participate in calibration and QA cycles.

Compensation is hourly at $35 USD per hour. Schedules are project-driven and often allow flexible daily hours within the required weekly commitment. OpenTrain supports your profile so you can apply, track work, and build a portfolio of AI-training experience.

Who should apply

Apply if you have CPhT-level pharmacy experience, strong medication-safety knowledge, and a desire to help improve clinical AI systems. This role suits clinically minded pharmacy technicians who prefer remote, focused annotation work and can commit to the stated weekly hours.
