In this role, OpenTrain AI is hiring and contracting with an experienced pharmacy professional to help improve the quality, safety, and clinical reasoning of advanced AI systems.
AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Subject-matter experts review model outputs, write high-quality examples, compare responses, and provide feedback that helps AI systems become more accurate and reliable.
Your pharmacy judgment will help shape how AI handles medication questions, pharmacotherapy decisions, safety concerns, and patient-care scenarios. The work is remote, flexible, and part of a rapidly growing technology field.
OpenTrain is seeking a Pharmacist AI Evaluation Subject Matter Expert to review AI-generated medication and pharmacy responses and improve clinical reasoning quality in model outputs. The role focuses on pharmacotherapy reasoning, dosing logic, contraindications, drug interactions, monitoring, patient counseling, fact-checking, and written feedback.
This is a remote, hourly contractor position for an expert contributor who can apply careful clinical judgment across therapeutics, drug information, and medication safety topics. The expected commitment is 20 or more hours per week.
You will evaluate written AI outputs for correctness, clarity, safety, and adherence to the prompt. You will also create expert pharmacy content and detailed feedback that demonstrates sound clinical reasoning.
This role requires substantial pharmacy training and professional experience. Candidates should be able to evaluate medication-related content independently, recognize subtle clinical risks, and explain why a response is or is not appropriate.
Experience in a range of pharmacy environments can be valuable for evaluating different patient-care workflows and medication-use scenarios. Prior experience in AI training or content quality work is preferred but not required unless otherwise stated.
