The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a Traditional Mandarin Voice AI Evaluator for a four-week project. You will capture natural voice interactions with an AI assistant, complete everyday tasks on a Mac, prepare accurate and cleaned-up Mandarin transcripts, evaluate assistant responses, and organize supporting recordings and task data.

What You'll Do

You will use your voice to compose and manage content across familiar applications while assessing whether the assistant follows spoken instructions accurately. Your work will combine audio recording, transcription, response evaluation, and structured task documentation.

  • Use voice commands to compose messages, emails, and notes
  • Direct the assistant to generate images and format text
  • Apply spreadsheet formulas through voice-based workflows
  • Ask the assistant to summarize documents
  • Record spoken queries and create accurate, cleaned-up transcripts
  • Evaluate assistant responses against project guidelines
  • Maintain accurate task records with supporting audio

Requirements

This entry-level role requires strong Traditional Mandarin ability, familiarity with Taiwan language and culture, and enough English comprehension to follow project instructions. You should be comfortable working independently, entering structured data, and applying quality standards consistently.

  • Native or near-native Traditional Mandarin Chinese proficiency
  • Taiwan language and cultural familiarity preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
  • Ability to produce accurate, clean Mandarin transcripts
  • Sound judgment when determining whether AI responses fulfill spoken instructions
  • Regular experience with email, messaging, documents, spreadsheets, and web browsers
  • Strong attention to detail and structured data entry skills
  • Ability to work independently and apply quality standards consistently
  • Access to an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS Sequoia 15.0 or newer
