OpenTrain AI is the organization hiring and contracting for this role. OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling, helping contributors discover projects, build a profile, and apply in minutes.
AI systems learn from examples prepared and reviewed by people. In video data collection, authentic recordings of real-world activities help create the training data that enables AI systems to better understand workplace tasks and environments.
OpenTrain is seeking a Business Owner Video Data Collection Partner to support workplace video data collection. You will coordinate recordings of hands-on work performed by your active employees, using mobile phones and following consent, permission, safety, and project-quality requirements.
This contractor role is available to eligible applicants in the United States and Canada. It is part-time, requires 20 or more hours per week, and pays $11 USD per hour.
You will help produce consistent, high-quality workplace videos across repeated recording sessions. The work requires practical coordination with employees and careful attention to whether recordings are authorized, safe, and representative of normal hands-on activities.
This opportunity is designed for a business owner or operator who has an active team and regular hands-on work that can be recorded safely. You must be able to coordinate employees, obtain the necessary workplace recording permission and employee consent, and follow detailed project instructions independently as a contractor.
This role may suit a business owner or co-owner whose team performs varied physical or hands-on tasks during normal operations. It is a strong fit if you can organize employees, communicate recording expectations clearly, and maintain careful consent and safety practices while collecting workplace video.
AI training and data labeling are growing fields where people help shape how advanced AI systems work. OpenTrain gives contributors a place to develop a lasting portfolio, show credible experience, find relevant opportunities, and grow their work over time.
