About AI Training Work

AI training (also called data collection or annotation) is the human work behind modern machine intelligence. People record, label, and review data—images, audio, video, and text—so models learn correct behavior.

Egocentric (first-person) video collection helps teach robots and AI how people naturally perform everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, organizing, desk work, and errands. Your recordings directly shape how future AI systems perceive and act in real-world situations.

The Role

You will record POV (first-person) video of everyday activities using a head-mounted smartphone or smart glasses. This is an entry-level, part-time contractor role that expects 20+ hours per week.

This project accepts contributors in the United States, Canada, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Pay is $6.00 per hour (USD).

What You’ll Do

Perform normal day-to-day activities while recording from a head-mounted perspective so hands and objects remain visible. Upload the raw, unedited footage as instructed during onboarding.

• Record POV videos using a head-mounted smartphone or smart glasses.
• Keep hands and objects visible throughout recordings.
• Capture routine activities such as cooking, cleaning, organizing, desk work, and errands.
• Upload raw, unedited footage following the project's guidelines.

Requirements

You do not need prior technical experience. Successful contributors follow instructions carefully, maintain reliable recordings, and work in a real environment where the activities naturally occur.

• Own a smartphone (or compatible smart glasses) capable of head-mounted recording.
• Access to a real home or workspace where you can record everyday tasks.
• Ability to follow recording guidelines and onboarding instructions closely.
• Reliable, detail-oriented approach to capturing and uploading footage.
• No prior experience required; onboarding and training are provided.

How It Works & Pay

Onboarding will provide step-by-step recording guidelines, safety notes, and instructions for uploading footage. You will be paid as a contractor at the stated hourly rate for approved recording time.

Keep in mind you must upload raw, unedited footage and follow the provided instructions to ensure your recordings meet project standards.
