OpenTrain AI is seeking an entry-level Smartphone Video Data Collector to capture high-quality, first-person video for AI training. You will record everyday activities in approved home, public, commercial, and outdoor settings, follow detailed capture guidance, and submit dependable video data and metadata.
The initial phase requires your personal smartphone and a head strap. As the project develops, you will transition to company-provided video equipment and updated recording workflows. This contractor, part-time role requires 20+ hours per week and is available in the United Kingdom, Canada, India, Singapore, South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia.
You will collect natural first-person footage and submit it through an internal platform with complete, accurate metadata. The work requires sound judgment in real-world environments and consistent communication with project coordinators.
You should be comfortable following complex recording instructions and working carefully with real-world video data. Prior AI experience is not required, but dependable execution and attention to detail are important.
This role may suit people with video capture or field data collection experience who are organized, dependable, and comfortable recording in varied environments. Domain knowledge is not required; careful handling of recordings, flexibility, and clear communication are especially valuable.
