The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a Business Document AI Evaluation Expert to help train AI systems on realistic professional documentation workflows. You will use advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word expertise to create challenging business scenarios, assess model-generated work, and provide domain-informed feedback on quality, accuracy, and effectiveness.

What You'll Do
You will design work that reflects demanding professional office deliverables and evaluate how effectively AI systems respond. Your assessments should explain not only which response is stronger, but also why it succeeds or falls short in a practical business context.
Design realistic tasks involving complex spreadsheets, executive presentations, written reports, strategic proposals, and financial models
Conduct prompt-driven interactions with language models using work representative of Fortune 500 business environments
Compare multiple AI-generated responses for quality, accuracy, usefulness, and alignment with practical business needs
Write detailed assessments covering strengths, weaknesses, rationale, and opportunities for model improvement
Collaborate asynchronously with project coordinators
Requirements
This role requires strong professional judgment and the ability to translate real business experience into nuanced evaluation criteria. You should be comfortable explaining your decisions clearly and assessing whether AI-generated work would be effective in a demanding workplace.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Experience creating or working with complex business models, analyses, reports, and presentations
At least three years of hands-on experience in a business setting
Experience supporting or leading work in strategy, operations, sales, marketing, finance, or HR
Ability to design realistic professional scenarios and evaluate AI-generated solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback with well-supported rationale
Helpful Background
Experience in finance, healthcare, consulting, technology, retail, or another business function is valuable, particularly in a Fortune 500 environment. Familiarity with conversational language-model workflows or prompt engineering can help you create more effective challenges, but it is not required.
