The role

OpenTrain is hiring a Japanese Small Business AI Response Evaluator to judge chatbot answers for small-business scenarios. This is project-based freelance work, fully remote, and organized as a contractor, part-time engagement.

You will work primarily with text data (evaluations and generated responses) and submit structured ratings, free-text feedback, and conversation transcripts. Tasks may include working with spreadsheets, PDFs, images, and other business documents in Japanese.

What you'll do

This project asks you to create realistic small-business prompts, run short conversations across multiple chatbots, and compare how each answer performs against clear evaluation criteria.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of small business operations or ownership experience

• Comfort working with spreadsheets, PDFs, and mixed input files
