About AI Training Work

AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Contributors provide examples, transcripts, ratings, and feedback that help AI systems learn to communicate naturally and perform useful tasks. This project focuses on voice interactions, bilingual language quality, and response evaluation.

The Role

OpenTrain is hiring a Bilingual Writer specializing in Thai and English to capture and evaluate real, natural voice interactions with an AI assistant. You will use a specialized version of the app on your own Apple Silicon Mac, complete tasks by voice, record transcripts, and assess the assistant's responses.

This is an entry-level, fully remote independent contractor role based in Thailand. The project starts immediately, is expected to last under one month, and requires at least 20 hours per week. The hourly rate is $12.60 USD.

What You'll Do

You will interact with the AI assistant through voice while using common productivity applications. Careful transcription, structured tracking, and thoughtful ratings are central to the work.

• Use your voice to compose messages, emails, and notes across everyday apps
• Direct the AI to generate images, format text, apply spreadsheet formulas, and summarize documents
• Record accurate transcripts of your spoken queries
• Produce cleaned-up versions of spoken transcripts
• Rate the AI assistant's responses
• Log task data in a structured tracking sheet
• Upload supporting recordings to a shared drive
• Perform detailed, self-directed quality reviews

Requirements

Applicants should be native or near-native Thai speakers, with candidates raised in or native to Thailand preferred. You must be comfortable working in both Thai and English and able to understand and follow instructions in English.

• Must be based in Thailand
• Native or near-native proficiency in Thai
• Fluent English proficiency
• Comfort working in both English and Thai
• Must own a Mac with an Apple Silicon chip, such as M1, M2, or M3
• Mac must run macOS Sequoia 15.0 or newer
• Regular everyday use of email, messaging, documents, spreadsheets, and browsers
• Comfort with detailed structured data entry and quality review
• Ability to commit at least 20 hours per week

Contract and Payment Terms

You will be engaged as an independent contractor and may complete the work remotely on your own schedule. Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project needs and performance. Payments are made weekly through Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
