Audio Editing & Production Expert (Audacity)

You will use Audacity to complete practical audio editing and production tasks. You will also show and explain your workflow so AI systems can better understand audio-related work.

The work includes reviewing audio tasks, documenting your process, and giving clear feedback that supports AI model improvement. Accuracy and consistent quality matter throughout the project.

• Edit audio in Audacity, including trimming, mixing, noise reduction, and sound enhancement.
• Record your screen while demonstrating real-world Audacity workflows.
• Explain and document each step of your process.
• Review audio-related tasks and provide clear feedback.
• Maintain accurate, high-quality work.

What it pays and takes

Strong hands-on audio experience is the main qualification, and prior AI training experience is useful but not required by the role description.

• Pay: $21 to $70 USD per hour.
• Work type: Remote, part-time contract work.

• Equipment: Access to Audacity and the ability to record and share your screen.
• Helpful background: Audio production, sound engineering, podcast editing, digital media, data annotation, labeling, RLHF, or AI model evaluation.
• Strengths: Clear technical communication, careful documentation, and close attention to detail.
