About this role
OpenTrain is recruiting for an Altium Designer PCB Workflow Specialist to complete and document realistic workflows in Altium Designer for AI training data development. You will use practical PCB design expertise to create high-quality interaction data, demonstrate design decisions, and help produce structured examples of real software workflows.

What you will do
Complete assigned PCB design workflows in Altium Designer, including schematic design, PCB layout, component placement, routing, and design validation. Create, edit, review, and validate PCB designs and schematics. Record your screen while completing tasks, explain the tools and technical decisions used, create realistic prompts and detailed rubrics, document workflow steps, and review outputs for accuracy and alignment with project standards.

Required skills
Strong hands-on experience using Altium Designer in professional or project-based environments is required, along with practical PCB design experience. You should have current access to Altium Designer, be able to use it independently, explain technical workflows clearly, follow detailed instructions, and work carefully in a remote environment. You must also be comfortable recording and sharing your screen while demonstrating software workflows. Prior human data experience, such as annotation, labeling, response evaluation, or model evaluation, is helpful.

This is a remote contractor opportunity focused on project-based AI training data work. The advertised hourly rate is 90-175 USD per hour.
