The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a Drawing and Design Software AI Task Specialist to create realistic computer-based workflows for AI training. You will turn practical knowledge of at least one drawing, design, drafting, CAD, diagramming, vector, raster, or 3D application into challenging tasks with clear goals, prepared files and assets, and complete screen-recorded demonstrations.

This is an entry-level contractor opportunity for freelancers in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Nepal, and Pakistan. The role is part-time, requires 20 or more hours per week, and pays up to $20 per hour.

What You’ll Do

You will prepare realistic software tasks and record yourself completing each workflow on your computer. Your submissions should show practical operations clearly and include enough context for the workflow to be understood and evaluated.

  • Create tasks using drawing, design, drafting, CAD, diagramming, vector, raster, or 3D software
  • Prepare applications, files, assets, references, and the workspace before recording
  • Record complete and understandable workflows on your computer
  • Demonstrate drawing, editing, layout setup, scaling, labeling, annotations, exports, file organization, and troubleshooting
  • Document task goals, context, steps, files, and notes
  • Review recordings and documentation to confirm they are complete, understandable, and aligned with project guidelines

Required Skills And Experience

You should have hands-on proficiency with at least one relevant drawing or design application and practical knowledge of its workflows. The role calls for strong computer skills, careful preparation, clear written English, and the ability to work independently while following project guidelines.

  • Experience with at least one of SketchUp, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino, Illustrator, Inkscape, Figma, CorelDRAW, Procreate, Krita, Visio, or Lucidchart
  • Understanding of layers, groups, shapes, paths, scale, alignment, dimensions, layouts, annotations, file formats, and exports
  • Ability to manage files, open required programs, navigate software interfaces, and record workflows
  • Ability to design challenging but realistic tasks with clear goals, files, assets, and execution steps
  • Ability to troubleshoot missing or misaligned files and resolve scale or export issues
  • Ability to produce complete screen recordings and clear task documentation
  • English communication at B2 level or higher
  • Strong attention to detail and reliable self-directed work habits
