The role
You will create high-quality Albanian-language transcriptions from video, annotate speaker turns and scene changes with timestamps, and provide linguistic judgments that preserve meaning and tone. This is a contractor, part-time role requiring 20+ hours per week and is open worldwide.
Transcribe Albanian video content accurately and clearly
Annotate dialogue, speaker changes, and scene edits with precise timestamps
Describe emotional tone, intent, and mood shifts in speech
Evaluate grammar, syntax, and idiomatic meaning in context
Explain contextual meanings of words and colloquial expressions
Collaborate with the project team to provide linguistic feedback and improvements
Requirements

Native or near-native proficiency in Albanian (sq)
Fluency in English for bilingual work
Experience in transcription, translation, or language analysis
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solid understanding of Albanian and English grammar, syntax, and cultural context
Ability to identify speaker emotion, tone, and intent
Comfort working independently with digital content and collaborative platforms
Availability for 20+ hours per week; contractor, part-time engagement
