The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Standard French Voice Actor to create high-quality recordings for training and evaluating text-to-speech systems. The project focuses on producing natural, expressive, human-like speech in standard French for an internal CX AI agent.

You will record across a variety of scripts and delivery styles, following detailed production guidance and maintaining a consistent voice throughout the project. The role is part-time and remote, with an expected commitment of 5-10 hours per week.

What You'll Do

You will provide clear, natural, and expressive French recordings that meet project standards for voice quality, consistency, and delivery. Scripts may include conversational, narrative, and instructional content.

• Record high-quality voice samples across diverse scripts and formats.
• Control tone, pacing, pronunciation, intonation, diction, and emotional expression.
• Maintain consistency in voice, accent, and delivery across recording sessions.
• Follow detailed instructions for the recording environment, microphone setup, and file formatting.
• Complete multiple takes with required variations in emotion, emphasis, and speaking style.
• Deliver conversational, corporate, energetic, or calm vocal styles as requested.

Requirements

This role requires native or native-level French and a standard, neutral French accent without a strong regional or foreign influence. You should be able to follow scripts precisely while keeping your delivery natural and engaging.

You must also be comfortable having your voice cloned for the specified internal CX AI agent use case.
