The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a Vivado FPGA screenshot data collector to support specialized application data collection. You will use Vivado, AMD/Xilinx software for FPGA and SoC design, synthesis, timing, RTL design, and verification, while producing high-resolution screenshots from the application environment.
This is remote contractor work with a default commitment of 40 hours per week. The structured time requirement is 20 or more hours per week, and compensation is $45 to $55 per hour.

What You’ll Do
You will capture application screenshots that accurately represent FPGA and SoC design workflows. The work requires using Vivado on a Windows PC and meeting specific image-size and display-setup requirements.
- Use Vivado on a Windows PC that you own or control.
- Capture screenshots larger than 2.5 megapixels.
- Produce one spanning image from two side-by-side displays when using a dual-monitor setup.
- Work with views related to FPGA and SoC design, synthesis, timing, RTL design, and verification.
- Use a qualifying high-resolution display or two monitors with resolutions of at least 1920 by 1080.
Requirements
This project is intended for contributors with practical experience using digital hardware design tools and the equipment needed to capture the required screen content. Hands-on experience matters more than a formal job title.
