OpenTrain is seeking a Visual Studio Code Screenshot Data Contributor to capture high-resolution screenshots of Visual Studio Code on a personal Mac running macOS. The project focuses on collecting clear software interface imagery using equipment you already have available.
The role is listed as entry level for AI training experience, but it requires demonstrated hands-on experience using Visual Studio Code across software development workflows.
You will open and use Visual Studio Code on your own Mac, work with a qualifying display setup, and capture screenshots that meet the project’s image-size requirements. You will follow project instructions and complete the work independently as a remote contractor.
You must have access to the required hardware and software before beginning. Visual Studio Code must be available on a personal Mac running macOS, and your display setup must support the required screenshot dimensions.
Prior AI training experience is not required. However, you should be comfortable with software development tools and desktop applications, able to work independently, and attentive to detailed project instructions.
This is remote contractor work with a listed pay range of $55 to $65 per hour. The default commitment is 40 hours per week, while the structured time requirement is 20 or more hours per week. You must provide your own compatible Mac, Visual Studio Code installation, and display setup.
