The role — Vietnamese Music AI Evaluation Expert

You will evaluate AI-generated music and lyrics in Vietnamese, using musical and audio-engineering judgment to score outputs and annotate training material. This is a contractor, part-time role expected to take 20+ hours per week.

Work includes head-to-head model comparisons, quality ratings of training audio, and structured classification of songs by genre, sub-genre, vocal/instrumental characteristics, and song structure.

What you'll do day-to-day

Apply careful musical judgment and audio-engineering terminology while reviewing AI outputs. Your feedback will improve model behavior for Vietnamese-language music and lyrics.

• Evaluate AI-generated lyrics, voice synthesis, and musical outputs for musicality and creativity.
• Rate model samples head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality.
• Score the quality of musical training data and annotate audio examples with structured labels.
• Classify songs by genre, sub-genre, song structure, and vocal or instrumental characteristics.

Requirements — what you must have

This role requires demonstrable music production and audio expertise plus strong Vietnamese lyrical experience. We cannot accept applicants who do not meet these baseline qualifications.

• 3+ years' experience working as a music producer, audio engineer, or sound mixer.
• College-level music background covering performance, theory, and lyrics.
• Prior experience writing lyrical music in Vietnamese.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Vietnamese and in English; able to follow instructions in English and evaluate music in detail.
• Comfort using audio-engineering terminology and making fine-grained musical judgments.

Compensation is hourly; rates fall between $13.01 and $23.43 USD per hour, with top pay at $23.43/hr. OpenTrain handles contracting and payment as the hiring organization.
