The Role
OpenTrain is seeking an expert Video Editor with significant professional experience in video editing, post-production, audio editing, visual storytelling, animation, and visual effects. You will review and refine AI-generated videos, animations, and visual effects while helping establish consistent standards for quality and performance.
The role requires professional-level judgment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly about visual and narrative quality. Experience with robotics media, AI training data, educational content, media standards, or evaluation frameworks is preferred.

What You'll Do
You will combine hands-on production knowledge with structured evaluation to help improve AI-generated visual media. The work includes both reviewing outputs and maintaining the organized materials needed for reliable AI training and benchmarking.
Review and refine AI-generated videos, animations, and visual effects
Organize, label, and maintain media assets
Assess generated outputs against quality standards
Apply stakeholder feedback accurately and consistently
Develop evaluation rubrics and curated datasets
Identify weaknesses, edge cases, and improvement opportunities in visual and narrative generation
Discuss relevant professional experience in video editing and related media disciplines
Requirements
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and have significant professional experience across video editing, post-production, audio editing, visual storytelling, animation, and visual effects. Strong organization, communication, deadline management, and feedback implementation skills are also required.
You must be proficient with at least one of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for evaluating outputs and maintaining dependable media datasets.
