OpenTrain is recruiting UK-based voice professionals to support the development and evaluation of text-to-speech systems. You will record natural, expressive samples across conversational, narrative, and instructional scripts, helping speech models produce consistent and human-like voices.
Recordings will be used exclusively for a designated internal customer-experience AI agent and may be used for voice cloning for that specific purpose. This is a remote, part-time contractor role for workers currently based in the United Kingdom.
You will create high-quality recordings while following detailed guidance for the recording environment, microphone setup, and file formatting. Scripts may vary in style and delivery, and you must follow them precisely while keeping your performance natural and engaging.
You should be a native English speaker with a neutral, standard UK English accent and currently reside in the United Kingdom. Professional experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting is required.
You must have strong control of diction, intonation, pronunciation, pacing, and emotional range. You should also be comfortable with potential voice cloning for the designated customer-experience AI agent.
Experience recording for text-to-speech, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets is helpful. Familiarity with audio editing software can also support efficient, polished delivery.
