The Role

OpenTrain AI is hiring a voice recording specialist to provide high-quality voice samples for training and evaluating speech models. You will record natural, expressive, human-like speech for text-to-speech systems across conversational, narrative, and instructional scripts.

The role requires careful attention to consistency, pacing, pronunciation, tone, and delivery. You will follow recording guidance for microphone setup, recording environment, and file formatting, and may provide multiple takes with different emotional styles when needed.

What You'll Do

You will create voice recordings that are clear, natural, and expressive while following scripts precisely. Strong control of intonation, diction, emotional range, pacing, and consistency will be important throughout each recording session.

Requirements

This opportunity is designed for a native American English speaker based in the United States with experience using their voice professionally or near-professionally. You should be comfortable recording for AI voice work and maintaining a polished, natural delivery across different scripts and styles.

• Native American English speaker based in the United States.
• Experience in voice acting, narration, dubbing, podcasting, or broadcasting.
• Professional or near-professional recording setup with a quality microphone and quiet space.
• Strong command of intonation, diction, and emotional range.
• Ability to follow scripts precisely while maintaining natural delivery.
• Comfort with voice cloning for AI voice work.
• Prior experience recording TTS, audiobook, IVR, or AI voice content.
