The Role
OpenTrain is hiring a Thai Quality Assurance Lead to review AI-generated Thai content and trainer or QA submissions. You will assess accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, meaning preservation, instruction-following, formatting, and adherence to project rubrics.
Alongside language review, you will provide precise written feedback, monitor quality trends, support onboarding, maintain Thai project documentation, and help align contributor workflows across Thai AI training projects.
Contractor and part-time position
Pay: $25-$30 USD per hour
Expected commitment: 20+ hours per week

What You'll Do
You will combine careful Thai-language review with contributor support and process improvement. The role includes hands-on evaluation as well as maintaining the materials and communication channels that help trainers and QAs work consistently.
Review AI-generated Thai content and trainer or QA submissions against project guidelines.
Identify recurring quality issues and provide clear, actionable feedback.
Communicate updates, workflow changes, and quality expectations to trainers and QAs.
Create and maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
Support onboarding and training calls focused on Thai language quality standards.
Assist with contributor activation and follow-up when work is inconsistent.
Contribute to scalable QA workflows for Thai-language projects.
Required Qualifications
This role requires excellent Thai-language judgment and strong English communication for guideline-based feedback and team coordination. You should be comfortable evaluating nuanced language choices and organizing detailed quality documentation.
Native or near-native Thai proficiency with strong reading and writing ability.
Strong English communication skills for guidelines, feedback, and team coordination.
Background in Thai writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, or AI training.
Strong understanding of Thai grammar, spelling, tone, register, politeness, and cultural context.
Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs.
Experience reviewing Thai localization, translation, or content quality.
Familiarity with AI training, LLM evaluation, or rubric-based quality review.
Comfort working with Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems.
Detail-oriented organization for maintaining quality documentation and workflow materials.
Helpful Background
