The role

We’re hiring a Thai Quality Assurance Lead to review AI-generated Thai content and trainer or QA work for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, meaning preservation, instruction-following, formatting, and rubric adherence.

This is a remote contractor, part-time role (20+ hours/week). Compensation is paid hourly in USD at $25–$30/hour. Work focuses on Thai-language quality review, documentation, onboarding support, and process improvement across Thai AI training projects.

What you'll do

• Review AI-generated Thai content and trainer/QA submissions against project guidelines and rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback focused on accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, register, politeness, and cultural appropriateness.
• Identify recurring quality issues and propose clear, actionable improvements to trainers and contributors.
• Communicate updates, workflow changes, and quality expectations to trainers and QAs.
• Create and maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materials in Thai.
• Support onboarding and run training calls to teach Thai-language quality standards.
• Assist with contributor activation and follow-up when work is inconsistent.
• Help design and scale QA workflows for Thai-language annotation and evaluation projects.

Requirements

• Native or near-native Thai reading and writing ability (required).
• Strong English communication skills for writing guidelines, feedback, and coordinating with team members.
• Background in Thai writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, or AI training.
• Deep understanding of Thai grammar, spelling, tone, register, politeness, and cultural context.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs.
• Comfort using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems.
• Detail-oriented organization for maintaining documentation, trackers, and workflow materials.
• Able to commit to 20+ hours per week as a contractor.

Helpful background

• Experience with large language models, prompt or response evaluation, or rubric-based LLM QA.
• Degree or coursework in Thai, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Prior experience reviewing Thai localization, translation, or content quality for digital products.

How it works & application details

We pay hourly in USD. This role requires regular QA activity, documentation upkeep, and close communication with trainers and other QAs to maintain consistent Thai-language quality across projects.
