The Role — What You'll Do

As a Telecommunications AI Training Expert you will analyze telecom systems and protocols, review AI-generated telecom content for technical accuracy and clarity, and create or refine training materials so models learn correct, usable information.

• Analyze telecommunications systems and protocols for AI training use.
• Review and refine AI-generated telecommunications content for accuracy and quality.
• Document complex telecom concepts in clear, practical language for model training.
• Provide analytical feedback on technical material and evolving industry trends.
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams around training materials and evaluation tasks.
• Work on text-based tasks including evaluation/rating and text generation.

Requirements — Who Should Apply

We are looking for an intermediate-level telecom professional with strong hands-on knowledge of systems and protocols and a track record of clear technical communication. You should be comfortable translating complex ideas for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Deep expertise in telecommunications systems, protocols, and best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Experience with technical documentation, report writing, or instructional work in telecommunications.
• Experience with AI systems, machine learning, or NLP is a plus but not strictly required.
• English language fluency is required.

Logistics, Pay, and Contract Details

This is a remote, part-time contractor role requiring 20+ hours per week. OpenTrain AI hires directly and manages assignments, deliverables, and payments.

Pay range: $20–$75 USD per hour (typical engagements offer rates up to $75/hr; final rate depends on experience and scope). Tasks are text-focused and labeled as evaluation/rating and text generation.
