The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a PR and Communications AI Training Expert to review AI-generated public relations and communications outputs and produce expert-level content for model training. You will assess clarity, accuracy, tone, stakeholder fit, narrative coherence, media readiness, reputational risk, claims and compliance sensitivity, and crisis-response logic.
This is a short-term, hourly remote project for qualified PR and communications specialists. Contractors may review model outputs, create gold-standard rewrites, and apply professional judgment to a range of communications tasks.

What You'll Do
You will combine communications strategy, editorial judgment, and risk awareness to evaluate and improve AI-generated content. Your feedback should clearly explain what works, what does not, and how the response should change.
Review AI-generated PR and communications outputs for clarity, accuracy, tone, stakeholder fit, and prompt adherence
Identify issues in narrative coherence, positioning, media readiness, reputational risk, claims compliance, and crisis-response logic
Fact-check statements where needed and explain recommended changes
Write gold-standard press releases, statements, FAQs, media pitches, and communications plans
Rate and compare multiple responses based on effectiveness, correctness, and reasoning quality
Rewrite AI-generated communications into polished, publication-ready examples
Evaluate product launch, incident response, and policy change communications
Requirements
Applicants should have substantial professional experience in PR or communications and be comfortable making detailed judgments about message quality, defensibility, stakeholder expectations, and reputational risk.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field
At least 5 years of professional PR or communications experience in an agency or in-house setting
Strong command of message development, proof points, objection handling, Q&A frameworks, and tone control
Experience producing press releases, media pitches, bylines, statements, talking points, internal communications, or executive notes
Ability to evaluate communications for accuracy, defensibility, risk, and crisis sensitivity
Strong editing and quality assurance skills
Minimum C1 English proficiency
Prior experience with AI data training, editorial QA, newsroom workflows, or communications review is strongly preferred
