The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a Technical Sales AI Evaluation Expert to create high-quality training and evaluation data for frontier AI systems. You will bring technical sales and scientific solutions expertise to tasks that test technical discovery, customer-requirement analysis, solution fit, product positioning, and complex technical communication.
This role combines sales engineering judgment with the creation of gold-standard examples and grading frameworks for model evaluation. The engagement is remote, lasts nine weeks, and is structured as a part-time contractor opportunity.

What You'll Do
You will design realistic, expert-level technical sales content and evaluate whether scenarios, solutions, and specifications are accurate, realistic, and solvable using the provided documentation. You will also incorporate senior-review feedback and maintain project quality benchmarks and milestones.
Create expert-level technical and scientific sales tasks and gold-standard solutions.
Author buyer-seller scenarios involving technical discovery, customer-requirement mapping, solution-fit evaluation, RFP responses, and technical objection handling.
Apply grading frameworks to evaluate model outputs and task quality.
Verify technical specifications and ensure scenarios are accurate, realistic, and solvable from provided documentation.
Incorporate calibration feedback through senior review and refine task designs.
Maintain project quality benchmarks and milestones.
Requirements
The role calls for approximately three to eight years of hands-on experience in technical sales, sales engineering, scientific sales, or solutions architecture.
