The Role
OpenTrain AI is recruiting a Technical and Scientific Sales AI Task Reviewer to create, evaluate, and refine realistic sales scenarios for advanced AI systems. You will work across technical discovery, solution positioning, demonstrations, proposals, objection handling, account growth, and customer recommendations in complex scientific and technical contexts.
Your reviews will assess technical accuracy, commercial relevance, practicality, and customer focus. You will also apply defined quality rubrics, incorporate calibration feedback through senior review, and refine tasks and solutions as needed.
What You'll Do
You will represent realistic customer requirements, workflows, decision criteria, and stakeholder objections in technical and scientific sales scenarios. The work combines expert sales judgment with structured evaluation of AI-generated or human-created content.
Develop high-quality solutions and recommendations for complex technical and scientific sales situations
Evaluate work for technical accuracy, commercial relevance, practicality, and customer focus
Assess solution fit and explain complex products clearly to diverse stakeholders
Apply functional quality rubrics and respond to calibration feedback
Refine tasks and solutions through review
Requirements
This role requires 3 to 8 years of experience in technical or scientific sales, solutions consulting, or a related customer-facing position. A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is expected.
An educational or professional background in engineering, life sciences, healthcare, technology, or another technical discipline is relevant. Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is helpful but not required.

Experience conducting discovery conversations about customer requirements, challenges, workflows, and decision criteria
Ability to assess solution fit and explain complex products to diverse stakeholders
Ability to create realistic technical sales tasks covering demonstrations, proposals, objections, and recommendations

This is remote contractor work available worldwide. The engagement may last up to 9 weeks and requires at least 4 hours per day, with up to 40 hours per week and 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Time.
