The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Tamil Music Production AI Evaluator to assess generative music systems through structured listening and expert musical judgment. You will compare AI-generated songs, evaluate musicality and production quality, classify musical characteristics, and review lyrics and vocals against reference material.

This part-time remote contract is expected to require around 20 hours per week and may continue for up to six months. Compensation is $15 to $19 per hour.

What You'll Do

You will evaluate AI-generated audio using detailed quality standards and make reliable, consistent judgments. The work requires attentive listening and the ability to identify differences in musical, vocal, lyrical, and production qualities.

• Compare AI-generated songs for musicality, creativity, and prompt adherence
• Assess vocal quality and production or mix quality
• Rate music against detailed evaluation standards
• Classify songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other characteristics
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy
• Use headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening

Requirements

This role requires native or near-native Tamil proficiency, the ability to follow detailed written instructions in English, and at least two years of professional or practical experience in music production, audio engineering, or mixing. Strong critical-listening skills are essential.
