AI Trainer (Tamil)

You will review AI-generated Tamil content and help improve how language models understand and produce Tamil. Your work will cover meaning, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural fit, safety, and whether responses follow the prompt.

• Review Tamil AI outputs for correctness, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, and cultural appropriateness.
• Compare multiple responses and rank them by quality, fidelity, and safety.
• Write high-quality Tamil reference answers and rewrites for general knowledge, customer support, education, and conversational writing.
• Check claims when needed and flag factual errors, hallucinations, bias, unsafe language, misleading content, and policy risks.
• Identify mistranslations, awkward literal wording, ambiguity, register problems, logical inconsistencies, and culturally mismatched phrasing.
• Write clear feedback explaining what should change and why.

What It Pays and Takes

This is a remote, part-time contractor role for an intermediate-level contributor. The work is open across India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Sri Lanka, with 400 positions listed across these countries.

• Pay: Up to $15 per hour.
• Time: 20 or more hours per week.
• Location: Remote and open to candidates in India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Sri Lanka.
• Language: Fluent Tamil reading and writing, plus strong professional English for written evaluations and feedback.
• Experience: Background in writing, editing, localization, translation, content quality assurance, journalism, education, or related language-focused work.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Tamil grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, register, regional variation, and audience adaptation.
• Preferred: Experience with AI data training, translation quality assurance, editorial quality assurance, or rubric-based evaluation.
• Helpful background: A degree in linguistics, Tamil or English literature, communications, journalism, translation, or a related field.
• Helpful background: Experience with formal and informal Tamil used in India, Sri Lanka, and diaspora contexts.
