The Role

As a Swedish Language Specialist, you will review AI-generated Swedish content and help create high-quality training data. You will assess meaning, fluency, accuracy, tone, register, terminology, cultural appropriateness, and adherence to prompts across general knowledge, customer support, education, and conversational writing.

You will compare multiple model responses, rank them by quality, create gold-standard Swedish answers, and write careful rewrites. The role suits an intermediate language professional who enjoys nuanced judgment, precise reasoning, and consistent quality standards.

What You'll Do

Your evaluations will help strengthen Swedish-language AI systems by identifying subtle quality issues and explaining how model responses can be improved.

• Review AI-generated Swedish text for accuracy, grammar, spelling, tone, style, and cultural fit
• Compare and rank multiple AI responses based on correctness and overall quality
• Write high-quality Swedish rewrites and model answers
• Fact-check claims and flag meaning shifts, mistranslations, and logical inconsistencies
• Evaluate whether language is formal, informal, and appropriate for the intended audience
• Check register, terminology consistency, and prompt adherence
• Provide precise feedback that helps improve Swedish output across varied language tasks

Requirements

You should have native or near-native Swedish proficiency, strong professional English writing skills, and experience applying careful language judgment in a professional setting. Strong attention to detail and the ability to explain why wording is incorrect or ineffective are essential.

• Native or near-native Swedish writing ability
• Excellent command of Swedish grammar, spelling, punctuation, register, tone, and style
• Strong professional English proficiency for detailed written feedback
• Experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or related language work
• Experience reviewing translations, localization, or editorial QA
• Ability to compare AI responses and explain quality differences clearly
• Strong attention to detail and comfort identifying mistranslations, hallucinated claims, and logical inconsistencies

Helpful Background

• Prior experience with AI data training or rubric-based evaluation
• Experience with editorial QA or structured content review
• A degree in Linguistics, Swedish or English literature, Communications, Journalism, Translation, or a related field
• Familiarity with product or UI terminology consistency in Swedish localization
• Experience adapting tone across formal and informal Swedish writing
