The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking a Strategy and Business Analysis AI Training Specialist to design realistic business-analysis tasks and produce gold-standard deliverables for AI model training and evaluation. Your work will include board presentations, investment committee memos, Excel financial models, structured scenarios, and detailed assessments of AI-generated business content.
This is a remote, part-time contractor opportunity for specialists based in North America or Europe. Work is output-based and paid per completed task that meets project specifications. The displayed ideal hourly range is $40–$100, with applicable task-level compensation confirmed before work is accepted.

What You’ll Do
You will translate complex strategy and business-analysis situations into structured inputs and defensible reference outputs. The work combines analytical modeling, executive communication, visual storytelling, and rigorous evaluation of AI-generated deliverables.
Design strategy and analysis scenarios based on realistic business challenges.
Prepare multi-file inputs using spreadsheets, PDFs, and source data.
Create polished PowerPoint board presentations and investment committee memos.
Build Excel financial models from scratch, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
Apply MECE structure, issue trees, and pyramid-principle communication.
Develop defensible recommendations aligned with senior stakeholder expectations.
Build evaluation rubrics with more than 35 criteria covering structure, accuracy, and executive readiness.
Evaluate AI-generated business deliverables for reasoning quality, clarity, numerical accuracy, and recommendation strength.
Identify unclear recommendations, logical inconsistencies, unsupported figures, and other failure modes.
Review visual storytelling, numerical rigor, and overall executive readiness.
Required Experience and Skills
This role calls for approximately five years of experience in strategy, consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or FP&A. Although the project classification may display an entry-level experience label, the substantive requirements call for proven ownership of senior-reviewed business deliverables and advanced financial analysis.

Hands-on ownership of board-level decks, strategy recommendations, or investment committee memos reviewed by senior stakeholders.
Ability to build Excel financial models from scratch with scenario and sensitivity analysis.
Strong command of MECE, issue trees, pyramid-principle communication, and executive presentation standards.
Exceptional written and verbal English communication.
Ability to produce polished, executive-facing content.
Experience working with in-house or standardized presentation templates.
Sound judgment when evaluating AI-generated business deliverables for numerical accuracy and executive readiness.
Helpful Background
Experience in the following sectors may be useful: technology, media and telecommunications, healthcare, consumer, or financial services. Prior experience writing evaluation rubrics or contributing to AI training projects is an advantage, but previous AI experience is not required.
