The Role

As a Senior TypeScript and React Code Reviewer, you will audit annotator reviews of AI-generated TypeScript and React code. You will validate whether each submission fulfills its prompt, works correctly, and follows standards for security, performance, and accessibility.

For every submission, you will install dependencies, compile the project with tsc, run the code in a sandbox, and assess the annotator's rating against a defined quality rubric. You will correct mis-ratings and provide clear feedback to maintain reliable training data.

• Review AI-generated TypeScript and React code responses
• Work with React 18 and newer features, including Hooks, Suspense, and Server Components
• Assess correctness, rendering behavior, prompt compliance, and engineering quality
• Support data quality used to train next-generation AI models

What You’ll Do

You will combine hands-on software engineering, testing, and structured quality assurance. The work includes executing code safely, identifying technical issues, and explaining decisions in concise written feedback.

• Install dependencies and compile submissions with TypeScript
• Execute code in containerized or sandboxed environments
• Verify that applications render correctly and satisfy the original prompt
• Check for XSS, CSRF, injection risks, and supply-chain vulnerabilities
• Evaluate performance practices such as code-splitting, lazy loading, bundle size, and Web Vitals including CLS
• Review accessibility and WCAG alignment for UI components
• Correct inaccurate annotator ratings and document the reason for each correction
• Use rubric-based scoring, checklist reviews, and annotation or ticketing tools

Requirements

This role requires deep, production-level TypeScript and React expertise, strong testing and debugging ability, and excellent written English. You should be comfortable reviewing code independently and giving constructive, specific feedback.

• Seven or more years of professional TypeScript and React development, QA, or dedicated code review experience
• Expertise with React 18 features, including Hooks, Suspense, Context, and Server Components
• Knowledge of Redux, Zustand, Jotai, and other state-management patterns
• Advanced TypeScript skills with generics, utility types, strict-mode configurations, decorators, and ES2023 features
• Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress or Playwright, Istanbul or nyc, React DevTools, and performance profiling
• Ability to identify and mitigate XSS, CSRF, injection, and supply-chain CVE risks
• Familiarity with Snyk or npm-audit
• Experience with Vite or webpack, pnpm or Yarn, Docker, CI/CD, and GitHub or GitLab workflows
• Proficiency with pull request or merge request code-review processes
• Excellent written English at B2 CEFR or higher
• Ability to provide concise, constructive feedback and mentor peers

Preferred Experience

Experience connected to AI evaluation can help you understand the broader purpose of this work, though the core focus is rigorous TypeScript and React code review.

• Exposure to LLM evaluation or RLHF pipelines
• Previous work on AI or machine-learning data-labeling projects
• Familiarity with Jira, Asana, or comparable ticketing and annotation tools

Pay, Schedule, and Eligibility

This is a part-time contractor opportunity requiring at least 20 hours per week. The listed rate is $25 USD per hour. Applicants must be located in Indonesia, the Philippines, or Vietnam and be able to work in English.
