About AI Code Training
AI training is the human side of building modern artificial intelligence. Specialists review, test, and improve model-generated content so that AI systems learn from accurate, useful, secure, and well-structured examples.
In this project, your technical judgment will help evaluate AI-generated Angular code. Your reviews will contribute to training data that supports more reliable coding assistants and software development tools.
Work directly with cutting-edge AI evaluation
Apply professional software engineering judgment to model outputs
Help improve the quality, safety, and usefulness of AI-generated code
The Role
OpenTrain is looking for a senior TypeScript engineer with deep, production-level Angular expertise from version 15 onward. You will audit annotator reviews of AI-generated Angular code, verify whether each snippet follows its prompt, and determine whether it compiles, runs correctly, and meets professional engineering standards.
This is listed as an intermediate project opportunity, with a strong preference for candidates who bring at least seven years of professional Angular or TypeScript development, QA, or dedicated code-review experience.
Review AI-generated TypeScript and Angular code responses
Build snippets in a sandbox to validate functional behavior
Correct inaccurate ratings and provide concise feedback
Ensure every review follows the project quality rubric
Help safeguard the data used to train next-generation AI models
What You'll Evaluate
You will assess whether code is prompt-compliant, functional, maintainable, secure, performant, and accessible. Reviews should identify issues clearly and apply the project rubric consistently across annotator submissions.
Angular standalone components, Ivy, Angular CLI, SSR or Universal, RxJS, and state-management patterns such as NgRx and Signal Store
Advanced TypeScript generics, strict-mode patterns, decorators, module resolution, and ES2023 or later features
Security risks including XSS, CSRF, injection, and supply-chain vulnerabilities, with awareness of OWASP guidance
Performance concerns including AoT, lazy loading, RxJS efficiency, bundle size, Web Vitals, and CLS
Accessibility and WCAG compliance for user interface components
Functional behavior through containerized or sandboxed builds
Requirements
This role requires strong hands-on Angular and TypeScript expertise, careful technical judgment, and the ability to communicate findings concisely in written English. You should be comfortable validating code rather than relying only on static review.
7+ years of professional Angular or TypeScript development, QA, or code-review experience
Advanced experience with Jest or Karma, Cypress or Playwright, Angular Testing Library, Istanbul, and performance profiling
Proficiency with Docker, multi-stage images, CI/CD using GitHub Actions or GitLab, and pull request or merge request workflows
Ability to spin up containerized builds and validate functional and prompt compliance
Familiarity with rubric-based scoring, checklist reviews, and tools such as Jira or Asana
Excellent written English at B2 CEFR level or higher
Ability to provide concise feedback and guide peers on best practices
Nice to have: exposure to LLM evaluation, RLHF pipelines, or AI and machine-learning data-labeling projects
Who Should Apply
Apply if you have production experience building and reviewing Angular applications and enjoy testing whether technical solutions truly work. This project is a strong fit for engineers who can combine detailed code analysis with practical validation, security awareness, and clear written feedback.
You may also be well suited if you have worked in software QA, technical code review, or structured annotation environments and want to contribute to the development of better AI coding systems.
Senior Angular and TypeScript engineers
Software developers with strong testing and debugging experience
Code reviewers and QA specialists with production application knowledge
Engineers interested in AI evaluation and coding-data quality
