The Role

You will read and record approximately 500 short voice commands into a provided Android mobile app. The whole task takes about 2 hours and must be finished within 1 week of assignment.

OpenTrain AI is seeking native Spanish speakers who use a European (Spain) Spanish accent. Applicants must be able to read and follow instructions written in English and must sign a consent form before recording.

• Estimated time: ~2 hours total; time available: complete within 1 week.
• Payment: Fixed-price $51 for the completed recording task.
• Data collected: audio recordings (spoken commands); label types: AUDIO_RECORDING and TEXT_GENERATION.

What You'll Do

Follow a simple workflow inside the provided Android app: install the app, review instructions and consent, record the prompts, and submit the recordings for review.

Recordings must be intelligible, consistent, and follow the read prompts exactly. You will be guided through short phrases and single-line commands; accuracy and clarity matter for model quality.

• Install and open the Android recording app (provided).
• Sign the consent form and read the English instructions carefully.
• Submit a short pre-hire audio sample so we can verify your accent.
• Record ~500 short voice commands as directed and upload them through the app.
• Complete and submit the project within the 1-week window.

Requirements

All requirements below are mandatory and will be checked during application and onboarding.

No prior annotation or recording experience is required—focus on clear speech, a European Spanish accent, and following instructions.

• Native Spanish speaker with a European (Spain) accent — you will submit an audio sample to verify this.
• Android device required (Android OS 9.0 or higher).
• Ability to read and follow instructions provided in English.
• Quiet, indoor place to record with minimal background noise and a stable internet connection for uploading.
• Available to complete the task (≈2 hours) within 1 week of assignment.

How Payment and Delivery Work

This is a fixed-price task: the total payment is $51 for completing the full recording job as specified. The project is contractor-based and short-term.

Delivery includes recording and uploading all required audio prompts through the app and complying with consent and quality checks.
