Review complex dermatology cases and AI outputs in a remote, four-week clinical evaluation engagement. The role is for US-based academic dermatologists with board certification, active practice, and subspecialty training.
The Work
You will provide senior clinical review for complex and unclear dermatology cases in a longitudinal dataset. Your work will support the evaluation of AI systems and the creation of reliable clinical guidance.
You will also help resolve disagreements among reviewers, document clinical consensus, and provide expert advice when cases require subspecialty input.

What It Pays and Takes
This is a fully remote, asynchronous independent contractor engagement for academic dermatologists based in the United States. The engagement is expected to last four weeks and includes occasional synchronous calls.
Compensation is paid per task. The amount depends on your experience, academic standing, and clinical expertise.
- Pay: Per task in USD; the task amount is based on experience, academic standing, and clinical expertise.
- Schedule: An average of 15 hours per week, with up to 40 hours during peak batches. The listing also indicates a 20+ hour weekly time requirement.
- Location: United States only.
- Language: English.
- Appointment: Assistant Professor or higher at an accredited US medical school or academic medical center.
- Credentials: Board certification in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology.
- Experience: At least three years after completing residency and an active clinical practice.
- License: An active medical license in good standing in at least one US state.
- Subspecialty training: Fellowship training in dermatopathology, Mohs or procedural dermatology, pediatric dermatology, or complex medical dermatology.
- Additional requirements: Peer-reviewed dermatology publications, strong written clinical reasoning, familiarity with current dermatology guidelines and complex medical images, and the ability to follow detailed protocols and communicate constructively with clinical reviewers.
- A non-disclosure agreement is required upon engagement.
