The Work
OpenTrain AI is hiring a senior dermatology reviewer to support clinical data curation and evaluation of AI models. You will review longitudinal dermatology cases, medical images, and complex model outputs using current clinical guidelines.
The work includes leading review for assigned case batches, resolving disagreements among reviewers, contributing to evaluation frameworks, and documenting clinical consensus.
- Review complex and ambiguous dermatology cases.

What It Pays and Takes
This is a remote, asynchronous independent contractor engagement for US-based academic dermatologists. The engagement is scheduled for four weeks and includes occasional synchronous calls.
- Pay: Per-label payment in USD; the rate is not listed.
- Time: About 15 hours per week on average, with up to 40 hours per week during peak batches; the listing also indicates 20+ hours per week.

- Appointment: Assistant Professor level or above at an accredited US medical school or academic medical center.
- Certification: Board certification in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology.
- Experience: At least three years after completing residency and active clinical practice.
- License: An active medical license in good standing in at least one US state.
- Training: Subspecialty fellowship training in dermatopathology, Mohs or procedural dermatology, pediatric dermatology, or complex medical dermatology.
- Background: Peer-reviewed dermatology publications, strong written clinical reasoning, familiarity with current guidelines, and the ability to lead and document clinical consensus.
- Other requirements: Comfort with medical images and clinically complex cases.
