The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Senior AI Trainer with exceptional attention to detail and experience analyzing visual data. You will review videos of robotic arms performing assigned tasks, identify important actions and transitions, and document outcomes with precise time-based annotations.

This is a remote contractor engagement with flexible scheduling. The project is expected to run for 6+ months, and contributors must independently manage their time while meeting project standards and milestones.

What You’ll Do

You will use annotation tools and grading guidelines to turn robotic-task videos into accurate, structured datasets. The work requires consistent judgment, precise timing, and a willingness to resolve ambiguity through collaboration and feedback.

• Review videos of robotic arms performing assigned tasks.
• Identify key actions, transitions, and outcomes.
• Mark precise start and end timestamps for relevant events.
• Apply grading guidelines consistently.
• Verify annotation alignment and correct drift or inconsistencies.
• Submit structured datasets through annotation tools.
• Collaborate on ambiguous cases and incorporate feedback during ongoing quality reviews.

Requirements

Candidates should be able to work independently and maintain accurate, consistent annotations across the project. Fluent English proficiency is required, along with the ability to discuss relevant experience for the Senior AI Trainer role.
