About AI Training and Data Labeling

AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. People prepare and evaluate the examples that machine learning systems learn from, including annotated video, structured observations, and ratings of model outputs.

In this role, your careful review of robotic-arm footage will help create high-quality training data for robotics and machine learning applications. This is part of a fast-growing field where contributors directly influence how advanced AI systems perform.

  • Remote work using a computer and internet connection
  • Hands-on contribution to robotics AI training
  • Work focused on visual data annotation and evaluation

The Senior AI Trainer Role

As a Senior AI Trainer, you will review video footage of robotic arms executing assigned tasks. You will identify important actions and outcomes, apply detailed grading guidelines, and create precise annotations that support model performance.

You will work independently in a remote project environment while collaborating with project trainers and other contributors. The role requires fluent English communication, strong organization, and consistently accurate visual-data review.

  • Role type: Contractor
  • Location: Remote and worldwide
  • Working language: English
  • Experience level: Intermediate
  • Data type: Video

What You'll Do

You will use video annotation tools and platforms to document findings and submit annotated datasets according to project standards and milestones. Your work will include reviewing footage closely, identifying event boundaries, and checking that annotations remain aligned with the underlying video.

You will also participate in quality reviews, respond to feedback, and help resolve unclear cases so annotations remain consistent across the team.

  • Review robotic-arm footage and identify key actions and outcomes
  • Apply grading guidelines to tag and annotate events precisely
  • Mark start and end timestamps for actions, transitions, and outcomes
  • Create frame-accurate segmentation for each video session
  • Verify timestamp alignment and correct drift or inconsistencies
  • Submit annotated datasets in line with project standards and milestones
  • Collaborate with trainers and contributors to resolve ambiguities
  • Incorporate quality-review feedback and maintain rigorous standards

Required Qualifications

Success in this role depends on careful visual review, accurate annotation, and dependable remote execution. You should be comfortable working in English and able to communicate clearly about progress, challenges, and annotation decisions.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing visual data
  • Fluent English proficiency and comfort working in English
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management and self-organization for independent remote work
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Proactive approach to resolving annotation challenges

Preferred Experience

Previous experience with video annotation, data labeling, or similar data-centric projects is preferred. Familiarity with timeline-based annotation interfaces and frame-level review will help you work effectively with precise event boundaries and timecodes.

A background in AI training, machine learning data preparation, or robotics projects is strongly preferred.

  • Video annotation or data-labeling experience
  • Familiarity with video annotation tools and software platforms
  • Experience with timeline-based timestamping and event segmentation
  • Frame-level or timecode-based annotation experience
  • Knowledge of frame rates, event boundaries, or frame-by-frame footage review
  • Background in AI training, machine learning data preparation, or robotics
