The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking an intermediate Sanskrit Language Professional to support an AI training project focused on PDF collection. You will locate Sanskrit-language documents that can legally be used for research, verify their licensing status, upload them to the designated research platform, and provide basic descriptive information.

This is a fully remote independent-contractor role with a flexible schedule. The expected commitment is less than 20 hours per week, and the project is expected to last under one month.

What You'll Do

You will help build a useful, legally compliant collection of Sanskrit text for AI training. Careful research and accurate documentation are essential to ensuring each submitted document meets the project guidelines.

• Source legally usable public PDF documents written in Sanskrit
• Identify publicly available content suitable for collection
• Verify open-source or public-domain licensing requirements
• Upload collected documents to the research platform
• Provide basic descriptive information for each document
• Follow detailed project guidelines and maintain accurate records

Requirements

We are looking for Sanskrit language professionals with strong reading and writing abilities, research skills, and the judgment needed to assess public content and licensing information. Comfort working in English and fluent English proficiency are required.
