The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Sales and Revenue Operations Task Author to design realistic business problems that train and evaluate advanced AI agents. You will create tasks grounded in real-world revenue operations scenarios, establish objective scoring criteria, and calibrate difficulty against AI models.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role for professionals with hands-on revenue operations or sales operations experience, particularly in industrial or enterprise environments. The work is conducted in English and requires 20 or more hours per week.

What You'll Do

You will turn authentic revenue operations knowledge into structured tasks that can reliably test an AI agent's ability to work through business systems and workflows. Each task must be solvable, objectively gradable, and appropriately challenging.

• Author prompts based on bookings reconciliation, account discrepancies, fulfillment status, and recognized revenue.
• Write scoring rubrics that define correct answers and how responses should be evaluated.
• Set up task environments that expose an AI agent to the same business systems a human employee would use.
• Solve each task yourself to validate its soundness and confirm rubric accuracy.
• Test tasks against AI models and adjust complexity until difficulty is well calibrated.
• Review and correct AI-drafted prompts or rubrics when provided.

Requirements

This role requires practical knowledge of revenue operations or sales operations and the ability to translate that experience into precise AI evaluation tasks. Strong written English is essential because all task authoring is conducted in English.

• Hands-on experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a closely related function at an industrial or enterprise company.
• Deep familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, including querying and interpreting account and bookings data.
• Strong understanding of bookings, fulfillment pipelines, and revenue recognition concepts.
• Ability to define precise, verifiable correctness criteria that can be checked objectively.
• An iterative mindset and willingness to test, refine, and retest tasks until they are correctly calibrated.
• Comfort using email, chat, dashboards, and other business communication tools in multi-system workflows.
• Strong written English communication skills.

• A background in enterprise B2B environments with complex deal structures.
