The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Sales and Revenue Operations AI Task Author to design and calibrate realistic business problems for advanced AI agents. You will turn authentic revenue operations workflows into tasks that require an agent to reconcile CRM records, orders, email, chat, and related business systems before reaching one defensible answer.

This role is well suited to professionals with hands-on revenue operations, sales operations, or closely related enterprise experience who can translate complex workflows into clear, objectively gradable AI tasks.

What You'll Do

You will create tasks grounded in real business scenarios, then test and refine them until the complexity, ambiguity, workflow steps, and scoring standards are appropriately calibrated. You will complete each task yourself to validate that it is sound and that its rubric accurately measures correctness.

• Author prompts involving bookings reconciliation, account discrepancies, fulfillment pipelines, and recognized revenue.
• Write precise scoring rubrics with verifiable standards for correct answers.
• Configure realistic work environments that reflect business systems and professional workflows.
• Reconcile information across CRM records, orders, email, chat, dashboards, and related tools.
• Test tasks against AI models and refine their difficulty and ambiguity.
• Review and correct AI-drafted prompts or rubrics when needed.
• Ensure each task leads to a defensible answer and consistently gradable outcome.

Requirements

You should bring practical experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a closely related enterprise function. The work requires strong operational judgment, comfort interpreting business data, and the ability to define objective correctness criteria rather than relying only on general impressions.

• Hands-on revenue operations or sales operations experience in an industrial or enterprise environment.
• Ability to reconcile and interpret account, bookings, fulfillment, and revenue data across CRM and business systems.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Understanding of bookings, fulfillment, and revenue recognition concepts.
• Comfort working with email, chat, dashboards, and other business communication or workflow tools.
• Ability to define precise, verifiable scoring criteria for AI-generated answers.
• Experience testing, refining, and calibrating task difficulty for AI tools or complex operational workflows.
• An iterative approach to designing, validating, and improving task instructions.

Helpful Background

Experience training or evaluating AI tools in a sales or revenue context is useful. Experience in enterprise B2B environments with complex deal structures is also valuable.
