About AI Training Work

AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. People review and improve model outputs, write or evaluate examples, and provide structured feedback so AI systems can become more accurate, natural, and useful.

Language quality specialists play an important role in this process by checking fluency, meaning, tone, cultural appropriateness, and instruction-following. The work is remote and can offer flexible part-time participation in a fast-growing technology field.

  • Help shape how AI systems communicate in Russian
  • Apply language, editing, and evaluation skills to cutting-edge AI projects
  • Contribute to remote workflows involving trainers, annotators, reviewers, and QAs

The Role

As Russian Quality Assurance Lead, you will review AI-generated Russian content and trainer or QA submissions against project guidelines, rubrics, and expected standards. Your evaluations will cover accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, meaning preservation, formatting, and instruction-following.

You will also help maintain project documentation, support contributor activation and onboarding, communicate workflow changes, and identify recurring issues or process improvements that make Russian-language QA more scalable.

  • Experience level: Intermediate
  • Primary focus: Russian language quality assurance
  • Work type: Text evaluation and text generation
  • Time requirement: 20+ hours per week

What You'll Do

You will combine detailed Russian-language review with clear communication and practical quality leadership. The role requires consistent judgment, precise written feedback, and the ability to keep distributed contributors aligned with project expectations.

  • Review Russian AI-generated content and trainer or QA work for quality and consistency

  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing quality alignment for remote contributors
  • Communicate updates and workflow changes clearly to trainers and QAs
  • Identify process improvements that make Russian-language QA more scalable

Requirements

You should have native or near-native Russian writing and editing ability, along with strong English skills for following guidelines and communicating feedback. Experience in Russian writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, annotation, or AI training is required.

You must be able to recognize awkward or unnatural phrasing, judge language quality in context, and preserve meaning accurately. Familiarity with AI training, rubric-based QA, or LLM evaluation workflows is also relevant to this role.

  • Native or near-native Russian proficiency with strong reading and writing ability
  • Strong English communication for feedback and guideline alignment

Who Should Apply

This role is suited to Russian-language editors, localization and translation reviewers, content quality specialists, annotators, and AI training contributors who enjoy applying detailed language judgment to structured evaluation work.

It is especially relevant for candidates who can give constructive written feedback, explain quality decisions clearly in English, and help remote teams maintain consistent standards across Russian-language projects.
