The Role

OpenTrain AI is recruiting a Robotics Video Annotation Evaluator to review short videos showing robots or people performing actions. You will assess whether each clip follows written directives and reaches a defined end state, compare alternative samples, and improve AI-generated annotations.

This is a remote contractor opportunity for an entry-level contributor. The assignment requires at least 20 hours per week, is conducted in English, and is open worldwide.

What You'll Do

You will apply detailed project rubrics to video clips and record clear, consistent judgments. The work combines visual analysis, action recognition, comparison of examples, and annotation correction.

• Review short videos of robotic and human activity against written instructions and project guidelines.
• Determine whether actions are accurate, complete, and aligned with the required end state.
• Compare video samples and identify which better fulfills a specified instruction.
• Correct or augment AI-generated annotations, including action boundaries, descriptions, and feedback points.
• Detect subtle differences in movement, object interaction, and action sequencing.
• Document observations, corrections, and evaluation decisions in clear written language.
• Apply detailed rubrics consistently and help maintain reliable annotation quality.

Requirements

You should be comfortable interpreting written directives, defined end states, and structured evaluation criteria. Strong visual judgment and close attention to detail are important when reviewing motion, object use, and action sequences.

Prior AI experience is not required. Relevant motion graphics or visual media experience may be applicable, and the role is designed for entry-level contributors who can make careful, consistent evaluations.
