You will review video sessions showing robotic arms completing real-world tasks and turn what you see into precise training data. You will use annotation tools to identify actions, changes, errors, and other events in video segments.
You may also flag unclear moments, visual problems, and tracking challenges, then explain your observations in concise notes. When requested, you will review other annotations and give useful quality feedback.
- Review robotic-arm video against detailed annotation and grading guidelines.
- Label movement, object interactions, trajectories, timing, occlusion, spatial changes, task outcomes, and errors.
- Tag video content accurately and consistently using dedicated annotation tools.
- Identify visual anomalies, tracking issues, ambiguous moments, and edge cases.
- Complete assigned batches accurately within established deadlines.
What It Pays and Takes
This is a remote, part-time contractor role. The work uses visual effects and 3D animation skills to understand robotic activity, rather than to create traditional rendered assets.
- Pay: $50-$90 per hour.
- Time: 20 or more hours per week.
- Work arrangement: Remote contractor role.
- Location: Open to candidates in the listed countries across North America, Latin America, Europe, the UK, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Oceania.
- Language: Fluent English.
- Preferred background: Professional or academic experience in visual effects, 3D animation, motion graphics, technical art, computer graphics, or a related field.
- Important skills: Understanding of motion, timing, spatial relationships, object tracking, occlusion, and visual continuity.
- You should notice subtle motion changes, visual artifacts, and inconsistencies and describe visual observations clearly.
- Helpful experience includes Blender, Maya, Houdini, Cinema 4D, Nuke, After Effects, video annotation, visual quality assurance, computer vision datasets, AI training projects, or robotics.
- Previous AI, robotics, or data annotation experience is not required.
