The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Revenue Operations AI Task Author to create and evaluate expert tasks for advanced AI agents. You will turn realistic RevOps and SalesOps scenarios into structured challenges involving CRM records, orders, email, chat, and operational dashboards.

The work focuses on reconciling information and producing defensible answers across workflows such as bookings, account discrepancies, fulfillment pipelines, and recognized revenue. This is a remote, part-time contractor role requiring 20 or more hours per week. The listed experience level is entry level, but the role requires hands-on revenue or sales operations experience.

What You’ll Do

You will design tasks that reflect the decisions, systems, and information flows found in enterprise revenue operations. Each task must be solvable, appropriately challenging, and evaluated against objective standards.

• Author prompts involving bookings reconciliation, account discrepancies, fulfillment pipelines, and recognized revenue
• Write precise, verifiable scoring rubrics for determining whether answers are correct
• Configure task environments that reflect enterprise business systems
• Solve each task yourself to validate its soundness and confirm rubric accuracy
• Test tasks against AI models and adjust complexity, ambiguity, or required steps
• Review and correct AI-drafted prompts and rubrics when needed

Requirements

You should be able to apply practical revenue operations judgment to complex, structured workflows and translate that judgment into clear evaluation criteria. Strong communication and an iterative approach are important because tasks are tested, refined, and retested before they are finalized.

• Hands-on experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a closely related enterprise function
• Experience in an industrial or enterprise environment
• Strong familiarity with Salesforce or a comparable CRM, including querying and interpreting account and bookings data
• Understanding of bookings reconciliation, fulfillment pipelines, and revenue recognition concepts
• Ability to design precise, checkable scoring criteria and communicate clearly across complex workflows
• Comfort working with email, chat, business communication tools, and operational dashboards
• Experience testing, evaluating, or refining AI task designs or other structured evaluations

Helpful Background

Experience training or evaluating AI tools in a sales or revenue context is helpful. Familiarity with complex enterprise B2B deal structures can also help you create realistic scenarios and distinguish defensible answers from incomplete or unsupported conclusions.
